One of the good ways to learn a language is through theatre.
Real-language is used in the plays, they are usually bright and entertaining and some unfamiliar words can be easily understood by context.
Before visiting a theatre it might be good idea to get familiar with a plot, main characters or read a dedicated book. It will help your child to merge in the theatre environment more smoothly and get more out of the performance.

We picked a list of top perfomances for you and your kids with links, locations and brief overview for you.
The Lion King in Lyceum Theatre
Lyceum is a West End theatre located in the City of Westminster, on Wellington Street. The perfomance is a classical adaptation of famous Disney Lion King which is part of Disney Broadway shows performed all over the world.
The PEA and the Princess in Polka theatre
Situated in Wimbildon, it's a nice chamber theatre with great perfomances for kids. It has café, toyzone, garden and a playground. So it is generally a good place to visit for a cup of coffee even without the play.
Matilda the Musical in Cambridge Theatre
A great perfomance on Ronald's Dahl Matilda. But caution, it can be really loud and with special effects, and some objects may fall from the ceiling...
Oliver! in Gielgud Theatre
My First Ballet:Swan Lake in Peacock theatre
The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse in Puppet Theatre Barge
Situated in Little Venice, that is a cozy marionette theatre in the real barge, very homey and warm.
